Tutor Expectations

Upon accepting a position with The LearningHook, tutors agree to represent the

company in a professional and responsible manner at all times.

  • Schedule and manage all online tutoring sessions using our designated platform (e.g., Zoom or other approved tools).

  • Begin all sessions promptly at the scheduled time — punctuality reflects our commitment to the families we serve.

  • Avoid rescheduling appointments except in cases of genuine urgency or unforeseen circumstances.

  • Use appropriate, respectful, and professional language at all times with students, parents, and colleagues.

  • Arrive fully prepared for each session with all necessary materials and a clear instructional plan.

Failure to consistently meet these expectations may result in a formal review and potential termination of engagement with The LearningHook.
